Volunteer lawyers are crucial to the success of the Pennsylvania Innocence Project. With a limited professional staff, volunteer attorneys serve on every case we take to court as co-counsel to exonerate the convicted innocent.
Lawyers at a single firm can help us review a case at Stage 3 level or represent a Project client in court. All interested attorneys or firms receive a two hour training seminar we provide.
If you are interested in having the Project come to your firm for a training session, please contact Clay Waterman at clayton.waterman@painnocence.org.
If you’re an attorney and interested in working with us pro bono, please send an email to Clay Waterman at clayton.waterman@painnocence.org and complete the Attorney Volunteer Application Form below. Please note, this form is for volunteer attorneys only.
