About Us
Our Mission
We work to exonerate those convicted of crimes they did not commit, to prevent innocent people from being prosecuted and convicted, and to help those wrongfully convicted transition to freedom.
We accomplish our goals by providing direct legal representation at no cost to wrongfully convicted individuals in Pennsylvania; advocating at the local, state, and federal levels for systemic change to address the root causes of wrongful convictions; providing reentry services to freed and exonerated individuals; and engaging students in the innocence movement to train the next generation of advocates to build a more equitable future for all Pennsylvanians, especially those from communities of color.
Our Team
Our team is passionate about pursuing justice on behalf of wrongfully convicted people. We walk alongside clients from intake to release and exoneration, and support them as they build their lives after returning home to their families and communities. Learn more about our staff and Board members below.
